Problem

Back in May 2023, the federal government ended all COVID-19 pandemic-related Medicaid changes. To prevent customers from losing coverage The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services’ ran a campaign to raise awareness and remind customers of the urgency to renew their Medicaid coverage.

Solution

The campaign consisted of OOH ads, PSA videos and a toolkit to be shared by health care professionals to raise awareness to current and potential customers. The toolkit materials included informational flyers, palm cards, and social graphics. Messaging for this campaign was later translated to multiple languages for non English-speaking customers.
